Abstract
The main cause of garbage buildup is because first, the number continues to grow as humans increase. Second, the land available to accommodate landfill is increasingly limited due to the high need for land for occupancy. And third, efforts to reduce the volume of waste by processing or recycling into useful goods require a lot of investment. But another factor that is no less big role in contributing to the accumulation of waste is the behavior of the community itself. So that this problem does not accumulate and roll like a snowball, there needs to be efforts and policies that are integral and comprehensive. The effort is to reduce waste production, reduce the need for land for occupancy, and at the same time look for cheap, efficient and effective technology in the management and processing of waste that continues to grow. The existence of provisions related to civilizing or getting used to sorting waste is analternative step in handling the problem of waste.
