Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess and test whether changes on the Job Creation Law Number 11 year 2020 which are tended to replace the Labour Law Number 13 year 2003 have massive impact on workers so that there are many objections made by workers or laborers. What factors have changed and how those changes affected the existence of businesses, investors and workers. The background of this journal is due to a number of rejections of the Job Creation law (Ciptaker) and how this product could affect the business circumstance and create a new entrepreneurial spirit as an effort to improve employee welfare. The assessment is carried out by comparing the contents of the articles of the labour law compared to the contents of the articles of the Ciptaker law both for wages, pension values, employee status and the rights and obligations of employers and workers. How can most employees positively responses to these changes and see greater opportunities from the products of the Ciptaker law so that employees can motivate themselves to also become new entrepreneurs as a solution to improve employee welfare which seems to be reduced by the existence of the Ciptaker Law
