Abstract

Today, the development of social media and marketplaces as part of information technology contributes to business activities. These developments have also changed the competitive pattern and map of the market, greatly enhancing its competitiveness. This study describes the use of social media as a more targeted marketing strategy. This can be used as a vehicle to market the product. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation and monitoring, obstacles and solutions that are carried out through social media in increasing sales at Citragran's Gepeng Meatballs business. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The results in this study are: 1) Planning, implementation and supervision are used as a communication tool to carry out marketing. 2) The obstacles that occur are the increasing number of business competitors, the solution is to promote with social media.
